The page does not format
Check that the response is JSON rather than an HTML page. After an extension update, reload the tab before formatting again.
Local files
Chrome requests separate permission for file:// URLs. Enable it from the extension listing, then reload the file.
A document is slow
Switch to raw view, reduce initial depth, or use an extraction. Tell support the approximate size and operation used, never the content.
